LightSource is first of all a philosophy and idea. But that is only the beginning of LightSource. LightSource is a new form of business organization that will bring a paradigm shift into how all forms of business are done.

LightSource is not about us, what we do or what we can do. LightSource is about YOU and what YOU do and can do! LightSource begins and ends with you and puts the spotlight firmly on you.

Because LightSource recognizes that people are NOT their jobs. LightSource recognizes that people have talent in many different fields and deserve the opportunity to do anything and everything they want. That is why LightSource is set up so that you do not have to stick to one occupation but have the choice to become anything and everything you ever wanted to become!

The LightSource center, the base, is a seed from which LightSource may grow. Every movement needs a base, every tree needs roots, every building needs a foundation.
LightSource needs a center, and you can help create it! The center is a place where all can gather together and experience events. A place where people can learn and share, a place to relax and re-energize. What is the vision? Allow us to share:

LightSource is a co-operation of people who help each other with the goal of complete projects, making money and developing the community. As a group all members have equal chance to help and vote. The more a person helps out the more points he has, the more points a person has, the stronger his vote.

All money and property of LightSource will be held in a trust fund and accountants will be hired to manage the fund. The fund will be used only for what LightSource members vote on. Voting and participating are the same- to vote on a project you need to participate, and participation is counted as a vote.

Votes are used to decide which projects are approved by LightSource and which are not. Approved projects will be fully funded by LightSource and will be worked on by LightSource members. Project creators and managers will be able to offer payoff (either a good or service which is a product of the project), the payoff (if any) is up to the project creator and manager to choose and reward. In return for votes and participation, the greater someone's vote is the larger a payoff he may be offered.

Once a project is successful, LightSource covers it's investment and the payoff are paid off, the rest of the money, if there is a profit, is divided between LightSource and the project creator/manager.

So as a member of LightSource you will want to gain a stronger vote so that you can get more benefits and better payoff, so you take part in as many projects as you can and help as many of them succeed as you can.
